The Stagg was built at the meeting point of 2 drovers roads and is part medieval, part early Victorian with a bit of the 1970s We have a small bar which locals like to eat and drink in so there is often no room at the weekends to sit for a drink, though drinkers are welcome to join the locals who all like a chat We are Herefordshire Dining Pub of the Year 2009, 2010 and 2011 as we were in 2008 to 2006 and 2004 in The Good Pub Guide then 2012 we were awarded the National Dining Pub of the Year We have fed Jonathan Meades, Jan Moir and Matthew Forte and they all enjoyed their food
