PCB Supports and Accessories Range expansion for Moss
The new nylon range of PCB supports and spacers includes click-in and screw-in types, as well as adhesive versions for which no drilling or hole-forming is required. The latest PCB products include:- An edge holder support which is easy to install and remove, making it ideal for applications subject to inspection and/or maintenance, and for development work where PCBs are constantly reconfigured. An additional feature is that the edge supports prove to be space saving, as they sit on the edges and therefore will often fit to a PCB where conventional supports do not. - A snap-in support is also added to the Moss range. This product is also removable for inspection/maintenance and can be used on its own or with a screw for added support. It is envisaged, that in some applications, it will be used to electrically insulate or mechanically protect a screw. The range of metal hexagonal supports has also been extended, providing sizes from M2 to M6. Like the existing PCB parts, Moss says the new accessories are likely to find significant numbers of uses beyond mainstream PCB assembly.
