Established in 1993 Distant Horizons UK is a professional Lake District based outdoor activity provider offering a wide variety of UK challenge events, team building events, outdoor activities & courses, overnight expeditions & journeys and outdoor equipment hire. The company is based in Ullswater near the Eden Valley in Cumbria, which hosts the second largest Lake in England. Distant Horizons outdoor activities and challenge events operate from a 30 acre estate with excellent facilities including a purpose built indoor climbing and training centre, a professional training room with full audio visual facilities, a fully fitted kitchen and toilets and showers. To accompany our challenge event and team building packages we have a brand new Alpine Style Lodge providing self-catering group accommodation complete with excellent facilities on our private estate in the Lake District.
