Located on the edge of Cannock Chase and described as one of the most picturesque Stately Homes in Staffordshire, Shugborough Estate (National Trust) offers stunning gardens which are a part of the Grade 1 listed landscape. The grounds are open 364 days a year (excluding Christmas Day) and are home to a working, rare breeds model farm, a unique Walled Garden, beautiful relaxing gardens and Arboretum, 900 acres of countryside which cover diverse areas from Cannock Chase ANOB to conservation grazing, to the home of the Anson family and Lord Lichfield. Today, under the expertise of the National Trust, and with a sizeable estate in which to maintain, Buxton’s and Shugborough agreed that being supplied with an Automower® would alleviate more time for staff, while still keeping Shugborough looking in premium condition.Why an Automower®?Affectionately named ‘Molly’ by the staff at Shugborough, the Husqvarna 420 is a well-equipped and robust machine, which was chosen due to its efficiency in mowing challenging grass areas up to 2200m² while handling steep slopes. This allows the Automower® to be set to what times of the day it is active, and will even navigate itself back to charging stations when low on battery. With all these features, the Husqvarna 420 practically takes care of itself, whilst proving that is it more than capable of addressing any area of land in Shugborough.
