I hand carve stone sculptures which are suitable for indoor and outdoor siting. They are abstract and figurative, although not representative. I take my inspiration from the natural rock and landscape I am carving in. I follow in the footsteps of Moore, Hepworth and African artists who believed in the direct carving method, where the artist releases the spirit of the stone in their work.
