Irving Sykes was founded by co owners Joseph Irving and Nicholas Sykes. The two craftsmen met whilst studying furniture making together at the world renowned West Dean College, where they served a two year making diploma. After refining their design and making techniques, the pair went on to work for some of the country's most prestigious furniture makers in London and Yorkshire. After gaining over 10 years' experience in the furniture making trade, the duo have joined forces and passion for designing and making beautiful living spaces. Inspired by early 18th century design through to Arts and Crafts and contemporary cabinet making, we offer a highly varied array of design and making using traditional cabinet making techniques.
