My expertise is in film and television sound and I trained in the BBC Film Department at Ealing Studios and spent seventeen years there from trainee to Sound Recordist. In that time I worked on most types of programming from Dramas like Bergerac & Lovejoy; comedy including The Two Ronnies & Allo Allo; and a large number of documentaries which gave me the opportunity to travel around the world. I left the BBC in 1995 to become a freelance recordist which I am to this day and since leaving I have continued working a wide variety of programmes including commercials, feature films and along the way I picked up a BAFTA nomination for factual sound on Paddington Green.
