Based in Cambridgeshire, award winning garden designer Anna McArthur has experience in designing a wide range of gardens, from small courtyards, to large country gardens and community projects. See her website for more information, and to see examples of her work. www.annamcarthur.co.uk Anna gets inspiration for the design of each individual garden from the setting and surrounding landscape, the style of the house and most especially the taste and lifestyle requirements of each individual client, so in addition to site visits, any information or thoughts you have about your garden will help Anna to make it into as personal and unique a space as she can. Sustainability and ethical sourcing of materials are important to her, and she does not use materials such as peat, stone from quarries using bonded or child labour, or wood for unsustainable sourcesAnna has a particular interest in gardens that enhance the quality of life - whether that is the serenity of a memorial garden in a churchyard , a 'Sensory Garden' at the Children's Hospice at Milton, or for clients who are disabled and need a haven that is easy to care for.
