Quay Theatre Arts was established in 2002 in a dis-used church Hall near the Quay in Weymouth by the husband and wife team of Steve Nicholas and Jill Tindale. The aim of Quay Theatre Arts is to provide a friendly environment for young people to learn about and develop a love of Theatre Dance and music. Starting out with a handful of pupils Quay Theatre Arts has over the past seven years grown into a thriving; friendly family run school. So much so that QTA has moved to new premises in Lynch Lane and can now boast two big studios as well as a reception, waiting room, dressing rooms, canteen area and music room for private music tuition in piano, music theory and vocal work. Quay Theatre Arts caters for students who dance for a hobby, as well as those who are committed to becoming the best dancer and performer they can be, and we aim to make each student proud to be part of the Quay Theatre Arts family.
