Our LED fibre optic star ceiling unit gives you zero running noise, zero heat and a super bright light source matched with a light lifespan up to 10 times longer than a halogen unit. Replacement LED should never be required. From this come 150 high grade flexible fibre optic strands "stars" spanning a distance of 2 meters (6.56 feet) from the light box itself.The unit will allow a standard star and as of summer 2009 our upgraded units now also allow the option of colour via remote control - access to unit is no longer required! Remote also gives the ability to switch between various programmes and also dim. The remote will work to a distance of 6 metres from the small receiver that can be installed discretely into the desired star surface. See video below for example.
