Welcome to my website. My name is Dan Messenger of dm childminding and I have been an Ofsted registered childminder since 31st October 2012. I have been married to my wife Collette since 13th August 2011 and we have two beautiful and amazing children. I have over 16 years experience of working with children as a Sports Coach and have experience of working as an Educational Teaching Assistant in both mainstream and special schools within West Yorkshire. I am also currently studying a BEd in Primary Education. In September 2011, I took a career break from my career as a Police Officer to study my degree and to become a child minder, as I find working with children of all ages extremely rewarding. Due to my past experience, I am also fully aware of the importance of providing a safe and secure environment for children to enable them to grow, develop and learn through play, appropriate support and positive interaction. I have a clear CRB and have a current paediactric first aid certificate, I have also attended various Safeguarding courses
