No previous tasting experience is necessary. Our aim is to make you a better shopper: to arm you with a little bit of knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm, which should help to take some of the guesswork out of buying your tipple of choice. Join us for very fun tastings with like-minded people, in a relaxed environment! Cecile Bergart is Hampshire Wine School's Proprietor, Wine Tutor and Champagne Expert. She was born in the Champagne Region of France and now spends every spare minute going through her (very long) list of sparkling wines from around the world, ticking them off one by one and sharing them with us all ... tough job, but someone has to do it?! She not only had her very first drop of Champagne at 4 hours old, but she also trained the food & beverage staff of some of the most prestigious London Hotels and Restaurants, including Claridge's and The Dorchester, for many years before opening the Hampshire Wine School. A life dedicated to wines from an early age! Her passion for wine, beer and everything bubbly is truly contagious, whilst her love for teaching and converting everyone to the beautiful and exciting World of Wines is infectious. Join her for a truly memorable experience and a really fun tasting! Cecile is a published Champagne and Wine Educator, a guest champagne expert for Champagne World Magazine and for Channel 4 'SuperScrimpers', a regular guest speaker on BBC Radio Solent, as well as being an approved staff educator for Marks and Spencer.
