We metSchelmish In Sweden , they are known in England having performed many gigs here, They are also Massive in Germany, theiragent in the UK has setup the following gig. We hope that our own folk from the south and the R and B will come along and support us. There may well be a gig that Andy and Clive of Madman Records are trying to organise in London on the 26th ( to be confirmed ) and then we head to Dorset I think on the 28th ( still to be confirmed ) wish us luck guys Date Friday February 27th. 2009.Venue. The Guildhall, Eastgate street Gloucester.Playing as support to Schelmish. Here is the story of how it all came about. Having been asked back againto Sweden's top Medieval festival Bohus Kunghalv wewere impressed to hear we would be sharing alternate slots with Schelmish.We had heard of them many times and to be honest what we heard on an earlyCd was not what we finally heard. It did them no justice whatsoever. Iguess most Cds are the same. To say live bands are better seen live is abit of an understatement.To cut a long, crazy, bleary, fun filled few days short, we had a greattime with the guys. Much, no very, like us in their attitude, energy andpure determination and will to have a good time no matter what, we wereextremely pleased to have had the opportunity to meet them.Bonding was natural as we recognised we were all walking the same path andtalking the same talk. A rare occasion and no macho bull to be seenanywhere. No wary words or looks just pure friendship like we had knowneach other for many years already. The inevitable has happened as wetalked about those few days.|The music of both bands is miles apart yet the spirit and performancethat the bands put across is unmistakably raw and open for all to see.We see a long road ahead in the collaboration of events and gigs between us.Charlie of Saor Patrol
