Sara Colacicco, originator of the Sara Tiara label, has been working in design and fashion all her life. Having grown up amongst the hubbub of Nottinghill's antiques, eccentrics and eclecticicism, Sara has developed an enthusiasm of her own...creating stylish headwear from vintage fabrics...whilst caring for the environment. Sara began in fashion selling vintage clothes on the famous Portobello Road. Sara and her husband Pier then went on to create their own label, Sara Sanskara, with their signature ethereal, feminine designs and innovative colour block coats. After several successful years, Sara decided to indulge her three passions - ecological fashion, vintage fabrics and elegant headwear. Sara and Pier responsibly source a wide variety of vintage materials, and together they have set up a buzzy atelier in a charming old warehouse in Poole Quay where talented and artistic local milliners work as a team to create each piece by hand.
