Ofsted registered for 20 children aged 2-5yrs, Young Haymakers (Est.1986) plans a curriculum that aims to help children achieve their potential in learning and development in the Foundation Stage. Situated in a converted barn in rural surroundings, Young Haymakers aims to: Provide a secure, happy, safe environment, where children can learn and play in harmony with their peers; Help develop independence & sociability outside the confines of the home; Prepare children to go forward happily and confidently to school; Enjoy the process of learning; Develop social skills and encourage an awareness of the needs and feelings of others; Provide quiet guidance and positive expectations, together with consistency and continuity. Young Haymakers aims to achieve this through fostering his/her self-esteem and independence, encouraging a lively enquiring interest in the world at large whilst combining the principles of the Foundation Stage with traditional Montessori methods.
