Calandered Sheet
Thin gauge, close tolerance rubber sheeting, coated fabrics, and elastomeric films are all produced using a method which as known as calendering. In the calendering process, fabric and rubber or plastic material is passed through a series of heated rollers to flatten, smooth and combine the two or more materials. Calendered sheets can have multiple layers of both the elastomeric and fabric "sandwiched" together.
