We launched Blackbird Pie Magazine in July 2003 starting with 10,000 copies aimed at parents with preschool children We run the magazine ourselves with help from friends with articles, proof reading and distribution We reckoned other families were in the same boat and we decided to do something about it With our two small children to entertain, we found that we often heard about suitable and exciting events after they had happened or just came across useful services by chance
