Sessions- During the consultation careful assessment is made as to how the client can be helped. If they are comfortable to proceed a session will be given. This is recorded on a cd and is taken home to be used until the next session. This allows the client to benefit from the hypnosis session each day. With each subsequent session, progress is assessed, and the client decides whether they feel they have achieved their desired goals, and whether more sessions are required. Complete confidentiality is assured at all times. I am a counselling hypnotherapist and my intention as such is to offer you all the wonderful tools for health and wellness that I have acquired over the many years of practice that I have had. However, my experience and understanding are teaching me that at the root of ALL the varying reasons that drive clients to my door lie fears which translate into insecurity, related negative beliefs and physiological dis-ease. It is now well understood that the consequences of living long term with stress hormones lead to illness and psychological distress. The resulting dis-eases come in many shapes and sizes as it were, but they have this in common. Therefore, I engage clients in a holistic insight and understanding of themselves and their responses to their life. We also associate hypnosis with the stage. There are some perfectly acceptable and good stage performances, of course. Paul McKenna started there! However, we remember the most tasteless ones better.
