The three distinct clinical units in the home specialise in the care of-people under age 65 with a mental health problem- those over age with 65 with a memory impairment and other mental health issues-those with a physical disability.At Fleetwood, every client participates in helping to develop their individualised plan of care. Using this plan, we provide exactly the right mix of skilled staff to deliver exactly what the person needs.We aim to help every person to do everything which they can. We find that this keeps people fit and mentally aware and helps then to continue to lead a meaningful non-institutional life.Medical care is provided by National Health Service doctors who come to Fleetwood. Clients from the local area may always retain their own GP when they come to the home or may choose to register with our GP. People who need medical care from a Consultant doctor attend local hospitals accompanied by our staff using our own minibus.We pride ourselves on being able to meet the whole variety of client's needs - physical, mental, social and emotional. Every person is likely to need some support in each of these areas. Every clients progress is measured against individual care plans to make sure that we are achieving each persons individual needs.
