Round Mirrors

Round mirrors are a great way of introducing contrast into a room since most of the furniture in that space - as well as the actual proportions - will consist of straight lines and sharp angles. And please don't be under the misapprehension that round mirrors are limited to the bathroom or hallway either. A circular mirror can look terrific above a fireplace (the larger it is, the more dramatic it will appear) while a round mirror is also a lovely way of filling an alcove in your home or relaxing the clinical look of a white bathroom. A round mirror can also work effectively as a layering piece. For instance, hang it from a hook on a wooden coat bench in a vestibule entryway to create a visually stunning and unusual ornamental and practical piece (not only can you use it to check your make-out going out the door but it will also reflect the outdoors when the door is open). It will also add brightness to your hallway if you have glass panelling in the front door. Then again place it against a larger rectangular mirror in the hallway or sitting room to add an interesting perspective and design.
