The aim of the club is to help owners to train their dogs to be well behaved family pets. To this end the club became involved with the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme at its launch in 1993 and all our puppy and pet courses are based on the Good Citizen Scheme. The Club also has a thriving competition class with members entering obedience competitions with good results. We hold an Open Obedience Show each April with competitors from all over the country entering the classes. All of our instructors are experienced in training all breeds, however our instructors will not train your dog for you they will help YOU gain the necessary skills.
