Business profile
We are a society that meets each Monday evening from September through to March to enjoy a programme of talks (23 or 24) based around a wide variety of natural history subjects. The majority are bird-related, but other genres are well represented. A series of 'ambles' are undertaken on Monday evenings during the spring and summer, looking at natural history interest in the greater Preston area. Non-members are welcome at both indoor and outdoor events, the latter of which are free of charge, and the former just £2 per talk, pay on the door. The Society also arranged day coach trips to more distant places of interest, and in 2011 is taking 48 of its members on a 5-day trip to Dorset.Come and join the vibrant, dynamic, Preston [Bird Watching and Natural History] Society.
