Illuminated Pages is singular in supplying contemporary Illuminated Manuscript paintings in the early Medieval (Celtic) style. Illuminated Pages can supply Cross Carpet Pages, Illuminated calligraphy, Prayers, Poems and Verses that are faithful to the traditions of the great Medieval Gospel books, such as the Lindisfarne Gospels and the Book of Kells. The Illuminated Pages range includes egg tempera and gilded paintings on calfskin vellum, traditional gesso panel and pergamenata paper. All of the paintings offered by Illuminated Pages are the original work of artist Diane George, an Alumni of the Prince's School of Traditional Arts. The paintings are produced entirely by hand, using traditional tools, methods and materials.
