Editing existing text so that it's clear and reads well, and is free from English usage errors, typos and bad grammar. I can translate out of 'committee speak', remove waffle, jargon, industry shorthand and slang, and re-write in layman's terms. I can also make something sound more formal, or official, if that's required. I can level out the style of a piece of writing, so that multiple authors are indistinguishable, for instance, and that the tense remains the same throughout. Retaining your own tone of voice is important to me, so you will still sound authentic, once I've finished. Your words will just be more readable.
