Salt-water sanitation is the natural way to keep your swimming pool water sparkling clear and fresh. Many people are turning to this natural way to keep a swimming pool clean and healthy, rather than continuing to use harmful chemical products in their home pools. Australia is at the forefront of this technology, where it has been in used for 30 years and where 90% of new swimming pools use salt-water chlorination system. With reports, such as published on the BBC website, increasingly showing the harmful effect of Chlorine (risk of asthma in children, burning sensations in the eyes and on skin), it is no wonder that more and more people turn to salt-water system for their pool. It is not only healthier but also economical: with a good salt-water chlorination system, there is no need for costly chemicals. The money saved from not using harmful and expensive chemicals will pay for the unit over 2-3 years, whilst the health benefits are immediate and priceless.
