Morghew Gourmet Potatoes is based on Morghew Park Estate in the beautiful town of Tenterden, Kent. We grow 50 acres of potatoes annually and now specialise in Exotic or Heritage Varieties, many of which have previously only been available if imported from the continent.Morghew Gourmet Potatoes/The Potato Shop currently grow 20 varieties of potatoes - everything from the traditional King Edward to the exotic Vitelotte (black truffle potato), we also grow Desiree and Pink Fir Apple, Red King Edwards, Shetland Black and Nicola to name but a few.As a trusted local grower and potato specialist we supply many local Restaurants, Hotels, Pubs, Schools and Farm Shops. As primary producer, Morghew Gourmet Potatoes/The Potato Shop know exactly which field each potato was grown in and what day it was harvested. Food miles from the field to the honesty stall on the estate is 1.5 miles. Morghew Gourmet Potatoes/The Potato Shop are able to supply potatoes by mail order within the UK or we can deliver within Kent and Sussex with our own delivery vans, or you can drive on to the estate and collect your sacks from the honesty stall. Morghew Gourmet Potatoes/The Potato Shop can also regularly be found at Marylebone, Parliament Hill, West Hampstead, Lewes and Rolvenden Farmers Markets.
