Foxearth Lodge is a purpose-built nursing home that provides the best possible care of all types to the elderly and people with dementia via our highly trained, dedicated staff. Established more than 30 years ago, our experience and knowledge mean that we understand the needs of our residents and their families, both on a day-to-day basis and non-routine occasions. Everything at Foxearth lodge is aimed at making our residents' lives pleasant, enjoyable and trouble-free, so we are able to respond to individual requests for special facilities or care wherever possible. Our residents live a full life as we have many activities available to them. These might include anything from entertainment from visiting musicians to craft sessions, from games and singsongs to special meals, such as teas and barbecues. We also organise outings to places of interest, such as gardens, the seaside, tea dances or the zoo. We provide for religious worship with visits from local churches of all denominations. In particular, the local Catholic church holds services every Sunday as well as Holy Communion once a month. In addition to social activities, we are able to offer services from local dentists, opticians, chiropodists and hairdressers, as well as from physiotherapists, occupational therapists and aromatherapists.
