Y Clwb - The Club

Newcastle Emlyn RFC's Club House on the picturesque banks of the River Teifi is an ideal venue for Parties, Meetings and Weddings with a function room for up to 180 people. Clwb Rygbi Castell Newydd Emlyn - Newcastle Emlyn Rugby Football Club was formed in 1977 and is situated in the picturesque Teifi Valley. The 1XV play in Specsavers 1 West having spent 4 seasons in the WRU Championship following the title win in 2015. The 2XV play in the Llanelli & District League and are past winners of the Llanelli & District Cup. The Youth XV play in the Scarlets Premier Division and are past League Champions and winners of the West Carmarthenshire Youth Cup. The club also runs a very active mini and junior section. Teams are run at all ages from 6 to 16 and all sides have at least two WRU qualified coaches running them. The minis and juniors meet and train on Thursday nights from 5-30 to 6-30 p.m. and extend a warm welcome to any child who wishes to learn how to play rugby. The clubhouse on the banks of the River Teifi is an ideal venue for Parties, Meetings and Weddings (licenced for civil ceremonies) with a large function room for up to 180 people. All function rooms have free WIFI and Sunday lunches are also served.
