The Ayrshire and Arran Forestry and Woodland Stratagy Steering Group is a collaborative initiative established to promote and support the implementation of the Ayrshire and Arran Woodland Strategy. The Strategy was published in 2003 and aims to promote the opportunities for trees, woodlands and wood products to contribute to the sustainable development of Ayrshire through delivering economic development, improved quality of life and enhanced environmental excellence
