Hertfordshire Music Service is one of the largest Local Authority Music Services with over 600 instrumental and vocal teachers teaching over 25,000 children in schools and music centres across the county Hertfordshire Music Service is a area leader We’ll be looking for songwriters to feature at our Songwriter 2012 showcases at gigs and festivals across the county, including the prestigious Hertfordshire Music Service Gala at the Royal Albert Hall in May 2012 We will be running approximately 90 workshops in these areas that have contributed funding from October 2010 until October 2012, to try to support young people to engage with the competition We cater for Wind and Brass players of all different levels of experience by working with different combinations of instruments and genres
