FAQs
I've never ridden a motorbike before — is that OK?
Absolutely. Most of our students arrive having never sat on a bike. We start in a safe off-road area, go at your pace, and only head onto the road when you're confident and ready. Angela and the team are used to complete beginners — it's actually where we do our best work. Give us a call on 01925 551 555 and we'll walk you through exactly what to expect.
How long does a CBT take and can I pass in one day?
Most students complete their CBT in a single day. There's no pass or fail — you continue until you reach the required standard, so if you need a little more time, that's fine. We won't rush you out the door. Ready to pick a date? Book your CBT online at onyour.bike/cbt or ring us on 01925 551 555.
I need my CBT for a delivery job — how quickly can I get booked in?
We know delivery riders often need their CBT fast. We typically have next-day availability if there's space, and you can book online right now at onyour.bike/cbt. All the kit — helmet, jacket, the bike itself — is included, so just bring your provisional licence and you're good to go.
Do I need to bring my own bike or gear?
Nothing except your provisional licence (or full driving licence) and sturdy Jeans. We provide well-maintained training bikes, helmets with Cardo intercom systems, and jackets. Boots and gloves are available to hire from the booking screen too. Everything is included in the price — no hidden extras.
What's the difference between a CBT and a full motorcycle licence (DAS)?
A CBT lets you ride a 125cc bike on L-plates for up to two years. A full Direct Access licence (DAS) — which goes through Module 1 and Module 2 tests — lets you ride any size motorcycle with no restrictions. Most people start with a CBT, get some road time, then come back for DAS. Not sure which is right for you? Call Angela and the team on 01925 551 555 for honest advice.
Is it safe? What if I'm not confident enough on the day?
Safety is the whole point of the CBT — it exists to make sure you can ride safely before you get on a public road. We never put you on the road until both you and your instructor agree you're ready. If that takes longer than one day, we work around you. Your safety and confidence come first, always.
I'm a woman — do you have female instructors?
Angela, the school's owner, is your instructor — a DVSA-approved, IAM-certified Advanced Rider who built this school from the ground up. Many of our students specifically seek out Angela for their training. Drop us a WhatsApp on 01925 551 555 if you'd like to talk it through before booking.
How much does a CBT cost in Warrington, and what's included?
Our CBT courses start from £225, and that includes the bike, helmet with Cardo intercom, and jacket. Boots and gloves are available to hire. There are no surprise extras on the day — what you book is what you pay. See full pricing and book at onyour.bike/cbt.
I did my CBT a few years ago — can I step up to a full licence now?
Yes — and it's easier than most people think once you've got some riding experience. We offer Direct Access (DAS) training covering Module 1 (off-road manoeuvres) and Module 2 (on-road test). Call us or book a DAS assessment at onyour.bike/das and we'll map out the route to your full licence.
Where are you based and how do I get there?
We're at Thelwall Parish Hall, Bell Lane, Thelwall, Warrington WA4 2SX — well-connected with great road links. Get directions via Google Maps or Waze at onyour.bike. Still not sure? Ring us on 01925 551 555 or WhatsApp us — we're a friendly bunch and happy to chat before you commit to booking.
