The Oxford School of Photography was established in 1982 as part of The Photographers Workshop. The School offers recreational courses as evening classes, weekend courses and workshops. The range includes camera based courses, portraiture, composition and Photoshop. The courses are accessible to anyone and the basic courses assume no prior knowledge so are suitable for complete beginners. Our courses are ideal for someone who has recently bought a digital camera and is struggling to get the best out of their shiny new camera. The follow on courses we offer such as composition, portrait photoshop etc are often taken by those who have a strong interest in photography or would like to pursue photography as a vocation.
