Beginner Biking wins another Green Apple
Presented by The Green Organisation the Green Apple awards reward environmental projects. The second bronze Green Apple award was presented at the Houses of Parliament on 12th November by the Rt. Hon Liz Kendall, MP. Beginner Biking trains parents and carers (with their youngsters) to teach them to cycle on two wheels. This scheme has been running in Hertsfordshire now for three years initially as a trial and now expanding out to the whole county of Hertfordshire. It has been highly successful and very popular with the children's centres and childrens groups who have run sessions.
