Great tasting Utilities Services package
The Client put an output specification together for suppliers to bid against including some plant upgrade and replacement compromising modifications to the Condensate Return system to reduce the cost associated with steam generation and some conversion of steam to LPHW heat exchangers to direct fired units. As part of Saxon Valley Foods energy efficiency initiatives the steam boilers are having variable speed drives (VSD's) fitted to reduce electrical consumption and cost. The service provided by MCL Energy Ltd includes the daily operation of the associated plant and equipment, 24-hr callout response, all service, replacement and steam distribution testing. The capital works for the plant and systems upgrades are being financed by MCL Energy Ltd over the term of the contract. This adds to the growing portfolio of industrial customers that are taking advantage of MCL's energy services packages that give the optimum site energy and utilities solution for those customers.
