The study of human anatomy (life drawing) is a traditional discipline that encompasses line, form, perspective, composition and colour and reminds me that I trained as an artist first. The figure drawings are begun in soluble graphite on handmade paper, then painted over with watercolour, blending the linework and underpinning the colour. Original watercolour paintings and limited edition prints are available for purchase. I am also open to commissions.
