Burgess TuitionMy name is Sal Burgess and I've been teaching the piano for 20+ years. I specialise in teaching beginners, anyone from age 7 onwards - and remember, it's never too late to learn! My oldest student was an 89 year old lady who was determined to pass her Grade I, which was something she never managed when learning as a child. It was the usual story - she wished she had never given up lessons when she was young. It's funny. I have heard that same regret from all sorts of people many, many times; however, I have never heard anyone say that they wished they hadn't wasted all that time learning to play. Everyone I know who has put time and effort into practising and learning how to be a pianist has only ever been pleased with their ability. If it's always just been a dream - perhaps now is the time to put it into practice. Within 3 months you'll know if this is for you.And yes - she did pass her Grade I. With Merit.
