Star Energy Plc

Star Energy is one of the UK’s leading onshore energy companies and the operator of the largest number of onshore oil and gas fields in Britain. The company develops and produces natural gas and crude oil from onshore locations across the East Midlands and the Weald Basin in southern England, supplying energy to the UK market through a portfolio of 28 fields and more than 90 operational sites. Alongside its established hydrocarbon operations, Star Energy is expanding into renewable energy as part of its long-term strategy. In 2020, the company acquired GT Energy, a specialist geothermal developer, and has since been building a strong presence in the UK geothermal sector. This diversification reflects the company’s focus on responsibly meeting today’s energy needs while supporting the transition to low-carbon heat solutions, particularly for large-scale and public sector applications.
