There are times in life when we all experience personal challenges and life can seem a lonely place. This may be due to life's daily obstacles or due to a specific life event. Talking things through in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment can lead to refocusing and breakthroughs. I feel part of my role is to listen to you and really hear what you say. I do not offer 'advice' and part of our journey together is to encourage you to find your own path. I believe change is facilitated through our therapeutic relationship which is created by establishing a secure, comfortable and honest relationship. My intention is to empower you and for us to find new and create ways of managing your life. I have extensive experience of working with addiction (including 12 step program work), bereavement, depression, anxiety and other mental health and client issues (see below). Integrative counselling is an effective and helpful way of counselling. As the name suggests, it enables me to 'integrate' my training and personal approach to draw on a wide range of relevant theories and techniques to meet your individual needs enabling me to walk beside you in your journey. My practice is located within one mile of Cranleigh, Surrey and I currently have Saturday appointments available. I strongly believe that an essential part of your journey is finding the right counsellor / psychotherapist for you and that is why I offer the first 60 minute consultation at a reduced rate of £30. This is without obligation. I am warm and friendly and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you continue after this, sessions in Cranleigh are £45 per 60 minutes and £65 for 90 minutes. Concessions are offered and arrangements can be made for me to travel to a place of convenience for you(price on application).
