About MK Sites

MK Sites is a one-person web design studio based in Edinburgh, built for Scottish trades and local businesses who need a website that actually brings in work, not just one that looks nice sitting online. Every site is designed and built with a single goal in mind: turning a visitor into a phone call, an enquiry, or a booking, as fast and as simply as possible. That means fast load times, mobile-first design, clear calls to action, and copy that says exactly what you do and why someone should choose you, no filler, no jargon, no generic template dressed up as a design. Working solo means no agency overheads and no account managers passing your project between departments, just direct communication with the person actually building your site, from first conversation through to launch. Packages start from £495 one-off, most sites are live within 7–14 days, and every build includes the technical fundamentals: proper SEO, mobile optimisation, secure forms that a lot of cheaper website builders skip entirely.
