The Excellearn Education Centre provides an excellent range of services including the following:- Diagnostic Assessment Service to parents and schools, Specialist Tuition Service, Vision Screening Service, Access Arrangements for Students of all ages, Disabled Students' Allowance, arranges assessment and treatment using Neural Integration 7 Systems .Both Philip and Alison Roseblade, co-directors of Excellearn, have Senior Management experience in both the Junior and Senior sectors of education, spending some years teaching in Special Education and in the Private sector.Philip is a qualified teacher and full member of PATOSS and the Hampshire Dyslexia Association and has achieved an OCR Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties; he is also a qualified Sounds-Write Reading/Spelling Teacher. Philip holds an SpLD Assessment Award Practicing Certificate.Alison is a qualified teacher who studied 'Meeting The Needs Of Pupils With Learning Difficulties' as part of her Bachelor of Education Degree. Two OFSTED inspections confirmed Alison to be highly effective as a primary SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), stating that SEN provision was a a "Model Of Good Practice". Her work also enjoyed a well deserved high reputation throughout the LEA, and she was regularly asked to support SENCOs from other schools who visited to observe her good practice. More recently, Alison has been employed as a Complex Needs Manager. She continues to offer her wide experience and expertise in the consultation and training of teaching staff in local schools.
