Traverse Line is an independent travel tour operator specialising in arranging tailor-made treks and safaris in Southern Africa, Kenya and Nepal. We place special emphasis on walking, ranging from bepoke and fixed date treks in the Drakensberg in South Africa to walking safaris in Zambia, as well more unusual and off-the-beaten track safaris. In Africa, most walking activities can easily be combined with safaris and more general touring, including self-drive tours. Our passion for adventure, combined with good local knowledge has helped us to run school trips in South Africa very successfully.In Nepal, trekking peaks are our main focus, which we have experience of climbing, and we arrange small, bespoke expeditions which follow carefully planned routes to ensure good acclimatisation. We regularly organise climbs of Island Peak, Mera Peak, and Chulu West, as well as straight forward treks to Everest Base Camp, and the surrounding territory.
