Teasels at Hyde Hall
This is the painting for which I was awarded the SAA's Professional Artist of the Year 2016 award. It is painted in acrylic on canvas with large and lively brushwork. The sun was just going down after my walk at Hyde Hall and I snapped the reference photo by getting low to the ground.
