Our Aesthetic Nurse Practitioners use well known wrinkle relaxing injectables such as Botox and Bocoture, other products are also available. Botulinium Toxin has been used for over 20 years for the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles. Small amounts of the product are injected into the muscle, blocking the nerve impulse and so relaxing the muscle. Treatment of the upper face include Glabella (between the brows), forehead and crows feet. It can also be used to reduce the appearance of 'bunny lines' on the ridge of the nose and 'smokers lines' on the upper lip. Dermal Fillers are a non-surgical cosmetic treatment. They reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and skin folds. Dermal Fillers replace the Hydralonic Acid (a natural, hydrating substance found in our skin) which our skin looses as we age. At TLC we use a wide range of dermal fillers including the Belotero range and Radiesse. These fillers can be used for cheek augmentation, chin, marionette lines, nasolabial lines, smokers lines, lip enhancements, hand and décolletage hydration.
