The Vanilla Pod Bakery was launched in 2009, after owner Pia Cato won a business planning competition in university, having sold the idea of a luxury tea and cake parlour to a panel of external judges. Pia has always had a passion for cakes and went on to set up the business straight after graduating from the University of Gloucestershire. She has since developed the business into a bespoke bakery specialising in couture wedding, birthday and occasion cakes. While the Vanilla Pod Bakery currently operates from a small bakery unit in central Cheltenham, Pia's ambition for a beautiful cake parlour is still very much alive - so watch this space! We now also run take decorating classes, perfect to learn new skills, brush up on old skills or just to enjoy a fun activitie.
