Running since 1990 without any sponsorship, the Bath Pool League has gone from strength to strength. Run by a dedicated committee, and paid for by the players, in recent years the league has stepped it up a notch with the long awaited introduction of World Rules coming into play, which in turn has created a very strong Inter-League team, and even players moving into the Somerset County Pool Team. The league matches are played on Thursday nights under Old E.P.A rules (Pre-1999), with a World Rules Premier League that is open to all teams from all divisions to play in once a month. There are also an array of competitions throughout the season to keep the players on their toes, including Scotch Pairs, Mixed Pairs, and Trebles to name a few.
