Business profile
Bewdley Pines is par 69 course which welcomes visitors to try their skills and enjoy its beautiful settings.Bewdley Pines Golf Club is situated in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside in between Kidderminster and Bewdley on the B4190.The course is based on sandy soil, so even on the wettest of days the course drains within a very short time, and very rarely are days lost due to the weather, also there has never been a trolley ban on the course just showing how good the drainage is.The current owners (Mrs Carol Hobday, Mrs Joan Baker, Mr Alan Hobday, Mr Kevin Baker) took over the club in December 1997,the course was a weed ridden field, which needed a lot of TLC and commitment from the owners to turn it from the rough diamond it was then to the "Gem" that it is today. The commitment showed when the directors could be found weeding the greens by the light of their car headlights at 8pm on Christmas Eve, just so that the re-opening went to plan, and they could fulfil their promise to members that the course would re open on the Boxing Day. The course is now a well manicured course, and the directors are always thinking of ways to improve it, only this year (2008) we have seen new Tee boxes and bunkers, plus planting of trees etc.
