Hypnosis and Clinical Hypnotherapy...   "Hypnosis is a natural state, and one which we pass into and out of, many times a day. It is the state we enter when we daydream, meditate or simply spend some time just "lost in thought"   Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep but rather a natural state of deep relaxation and inner awareness similar to daydreaming.   We have all experienced hypnosis in our daily lives. Have you ever driven somewhere and could not remember how you got there? Or been "deep in thought" at the exclusion of everything else around you? These are only two of many commonly occurring examples of hypnosis or altered state of awareness.   In our lives, we are most comfortable when we have a feeling of balance, being grounded, a feeling of freedom and a sense of equilibrium.   Consider the subconscious mind as the part of you which looks out for you and learns how to guide you through life. Most of the time it does a good job but sometimes it can make mistakes and needs help. Through hypnosis and hypnotherapy I can help correct these problems by re-education or re-training.
