Burghfield Bantams Floorball and Unihoc Club are a Sport Club based just outside Reading, Berkshire playing Floorball (Unihoc/Indoor Hockey). We are always looking for new or experienced Floorball/Unihoc/Hockey players to come and join us for a game of Floorball every Thursday evening. If you don't know what Floorball is, it is a kind of Indoor Hockey, similar to Street, Roller and Ice Hockey but without the Street, Roller or Ice part ... and played with a light plastic ball rather than puck (so less painful if you get hit!). Check it out on Wikipedia or YouTube and you will get the idea. We are a friendly informal club of men and women (it is a mixed sport) of all ages, playing for pleasure rather than outright competiveness. It is great exercise and will give you a good workout. We play every Thursday evening from 9:00pm for 1 hour ... and then more often than not adjourn to the local pub for the social side. The first time you come along is free and thereafter is £5.
