UBIFRANCE showcases French hi-tech in 4 pavilions at CeBIT 2011
UBIFRANCE, the French government agency for international business development, will be in charge of four pavilions hosting 30 French companies in the ICT field at CeBIT, to be held in Hanover (Germany) between 1 and 5 March 2011. CeBIT is Europe's leading trade show for the digital industries.  According to forecasts by the European Information Technology Observatory (EITO), total turnover for the IT sector in France will be up by 4.8% on 2010, to reach €52 billion in 2011. France has been posting the highest growth rate in the ICT sector as a whole, as compared to other European countries, and one of the highest growth rates worldwide. The entire French ICT market (including telecommunications and consumer electronics) is expected to rise by 2.5% in 2011 (on 2010) to reach €117.4 billion. French companies attending CeBIT will illustrate the dynamism of the industry in France.  CeBIT is set to bring together suppliers and users from the whole world, who work in a range of sectors within the telecoms and IT industry. The four French Pavilions organised by UBIFRANCE, France's export-support agency, will be showcasing the products, services and technologies of 30 cutting-edge French-based companies representing the ICT sector. This will be done through two of CEBIT's four user-focused platforms - CeBIT pro, CeBIT gov, CeBIT lab and CeBIT life.   CeBIT pro, acting as the core platform of the trade show, will show reliable and effective digital solutions for businesses, and 21 French companies will be exhibiting at the French Pavilions located in Halls 3, 6 and 14.  For its part, CeBIT lab will be focusing on the future of ICT applications, through the Forum for Research and Innovation, which is due to be set up at CeBIT. There will be nine French exhibitors in Hall 9. A special event is planned in the Demo Area, which will enable visitors to learn more about French technological innovation. This will be held on 2 and 3 March, from 10.00am to 5.00pm, in Hall 9 (Booth B09/UBIFRANCE).  A full catalogue of French exhibitors is available upon request and can be accessed on line here: . The following companies will be on the French pavilions. ▪ 8Motions is a specialist in geo-localization services on mobile platforms:  ▪ ADAR INNOVATIONS is a specialist in rugged mobile telephones that can be used in extreme conditions:  ▪ ANATOLE is a specialist in TEM, which stands for Telecom Expense Management, and helps companies optimize budgets in the telecoms field:  ▪ BlogSpirit has been helping companies manage blogs and social-media platforms with turnkey solutions since 2004:  ▪ blueKiwi Software is a specialist in Social Business software, whose services take in software tools and the client company's strategy:  ▪ Co-Decision Technology is a solution provider regarding the next generation of Decisional Systems and High-Performance Event Stream Processing (HPEP), specialising in finance (including fraud detection) and defence/security:  ▪ Decelect is a specialist in ESVDI, which stands for Energy, Security, Voice, Data & Images, and the company has been offering its services since 1968:  ▪ FOGALE nanotech is a specialist in sensors (including capacitive, ultrasound and inductive sensors), with applications in OEM, biotechnology and civil engineering:  ▪ FREEMINDTRONIC is an innovative company specialising in technology for the protection of equipment, installations, property and persons, with its FullProtect solution:  ▪ Gostai is a specialist in service robots and software for the robotics sector, which has been developed on the back of Urbi, an innovative operating system for robots:  ▪ HAPLOID is a specialist in innovative applications for mobile telephones (including iPhone and Android cellphones):  ▪ IVES has developed a service that enables users to make interactive video-calls from residential homes, from care homes, etc.:  ▪ LR2F is a distributor of optical-media products across Europe, including products such as VERBATIM and ORYNX:  ▪ L'Ile des Médias is a specialist in interactive displays and technologies that enable people in public places to find their way round more easily and faster:  ▪ Mayamax designs and manufactures chargers for mobile phones and other mobile devices, among other types of electronic equipment used by the general public:  ▪ MLstate was founded in 2007 by researchers willing to change the face of online development and bridge the gap between industry and fundamental research; the company specialises in secure solutions for the internet:  ▪ MOBIBASE specialises in mobile-entertainement solutions, and, more particularly, in mobile-TV content, services and technologies:  ▪ MOBILIS offers a range of cases, backpacks, and other products to transport mobile devices safely:  ▪ Mobiquant Technologies is a
