The business was founded in 1985 by Charles Taylor to provide a complete service for customers who appreciate fine craftsmanship. We are staffed by a team of experienced and dedicated craftsmen, each with their own areas of expertise, supported by designers and specifiers. We operate from our extensive workshop in Dalkeith's historic West Church. This is fully equipped with all the resources and machinery we need to produce traditional and contemporary furniture, and our conservation work, using traditional and modern techniques. Some of our more notable clients include The National Trust for Scotland, The National Galleries of Scotland, and the Royal Collections Trust.
